About Nourish & Flourish
My Story
Hi! My name is Elizabeth. My passion is to create delicious sourdough baked goods using all organic, clean ingredients. I started baking sourdough bread in 2022. I have always loved sharing baked goods with friends and family. After much encouragement, I started selling my bread in the Fall of 2023 and since then have created Nourish and Flourish. I am so thankful for every customer who supports my micro bakery.
Freshly Milled Wheat
I’ve been diving into milling my own flour to provide baked goods with the most nutrition from the wheat itself. It’s a big learning curve, so as I perfect different recipes, I will be adding more freshly milled items to my site!

Why Sourdough?
Sourdough is a tasty, old-school bread made from a simple mix of flour and water, left to bubble with natural yeast and good bacteria for that signature tangy taste and chewy bite.
It’s gentler on your stomach since fermentation breaks down gluten and tough bits, which might help if you’re sensitive to regular bread.
Packed with natural vitamins and minerals like B vitamins, it’s great for keeping your gut happy and healthy.
With a slower sugar spike than typical bread, it’s a smarter choice for steady energy.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to store sourdough bread? I recommend leaving the bread cut side down on the cutting board covered with a tea towel for the first couple of days. If you happen to still have bread left after 2-3 days, then put the bread in a glass container, plastic bag or freeze it. Moisture is not its friend, so in this FL humidity avoid long plastic bag use. Personally, I leave my bread cut side down on the counter until it is gone. The crust gets a little hard, however the inside is still soft.
How long does sourdough bread stay fresh? Sourdough bread does not have preservatives in it, so it is at its freshest the first few days. If it lasts longer than a few days, I recommend toasting the bread before eating it.
What can I do with stale bread? You can turn your stale sourdough bread into bread crumbs or croutons! Just google a recipe that you like.
Do you do custom orders? If you are interested in placing a custom order for an event, party, etc. please reach out to me and I’ll let you know if it’s possible!
How can I refresh my bread from frozen? Freeze fresh sourdough bread in an airtight container. When ready to eat, pull out of freezer and let it thaw on the counter. Once thawed, run under cold water for a minute. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 min and it’ll be as good as new!
